Medical Assistant

This program is designed to teach the student the basic knowledge and skills to gain employment as a Medical Assistant.

You will learn and develop skills in preparing a physician’s treatment room, inventory, supplies, phlebotomy, pharmacology, EKG, medical instruments, performing laboratory tests, medical records, scheduling appointments and medical billing and coding. Alpha Medical Institute students will learn how to use computers which are essential to compete in the job market.

A graduate from this program can be employed in places such as doctors offices, clinic, hospitals and nursing/personnel agencies .
