The school admits, as regular students with mental or physical handicaps, applicants possessing a certificate of graduation from a school providing secondary education or the recognized equivalent of such a certificate (GED). Persons who are beyond the age of compulsory school attendance and have the ability to benefit from the program will be accepted; by scoring a minimum of 12 in the Wonderlic entrance exam for the nurse aide program.

If you are interested in applying for training, call or write to the school. Our admissions department representative will contact you to schedule a pre-admissions interview. When you attend the interview, our admissions representative will explain, in depth, the program and procedures at Alpha Medical Institute.

The admissions representative will cover all requirements, tuition and fees, refund policy, books and supplies, student rules and regulations and job search. You will be informed of the current completion rates, job placement rates and employment rates for the desired programs.

All the employment and placement rates are based on availability and sources from the past twelve (12) months. Your representative will also answer all additional questions you may have about the school. You will be given a tour of the facility and when you feel that you are ready to enroll, you will then be given an enrollment agreement to fill out. You will be approved for training at Alpha Medical Institute when you sign your enrollment agreement, satisfy the admission requirements and fulfil your financial obligations regarding tuition and fees. Final acceptance of your enrollment at Alpha Medical Institute will be given by the campus director. Alpha Medical Institute accepts students without regard to sex, religion, disability, race, age or ethnic origin.
